Hello. I have been unfortunately in interaction with people who operate in this spirit. I don't think the library of congress could hold all the books needed to record all the many ways and operations and character of this spirit. My question is regarding the people who are in bondage to this wicked spirit. I have a heart for them. How do I pray for them? What if a husband is operating in Jezebel and his wife and kids are spiritual eunuchs (weak and being used and helpless)... Is there a way to pray for their freedom from such a wicked spirit?!

I'm grateful for the variety of ways God expresses His servitude in the church. There are scholars who have spent years and years studying the original language and culture so that people can tune in with what the message. We don't live in the Judaic Hellenistic culture, nor do we speak the language that the people during Jesus' time spoke. So there is a huge need to be aware of these things. Because wrong translation or wrong interpretation means wrong message. Imagine what it would be like if we didn't have an English Bible, except for those of us who know Koine Greek or Biblical Hebrew. At the same time, I believe, there are others in the Body who are just plain "raw". They are not intellectual nor educated, but they have a passion and love for the Lord and His people. They too are part of God's grand tapestry. There is much we can learn from each other.

However, I must point out here that, as Laura Dee said, Paul didn't wait 18 years before he started his ministry. Acts 9:19-20 tells us that he began preaching at once that Jesus was the Son of God.

"Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus. 20 At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God." (Acts 9:19-20).

Let us not be fixed, but be flexible to where the heart of God is.

But Jesus was preparing for his ministry from the instant he was born. And guess what, 30 is an awful young age for someone to enter into a powerful ministry. Plain and simple. Most people wait until 18 or 20 to start being prepared.

The problem is my view is NOT one of immediacy, as you suggest. It's to get back to the Hebraic model of apprenticing and discipling rather than the Greek model of classroom knowledge.

This seems to agree with the notion of the meaning of the word "gospel". An announcement of a new government taking over; a new regime; a new set of paradigms and rulership. If the "gospel" is such a thing, then the Baptizer's message of "Here is the One to whom this new Kingdom belongs to" seems apt...perhaps even the 'gospel truth' (pun deliberate) :o)

People studying are not putting their actions off, they are working very hard so their later actions can have greater impact. Jesus waited until he was an elder before he began his ministry, and there was an 18 year gap between Paul's encounter with God on the road to Damascus and his ministry. It is a biblical value to work and wait. Your view of immediacy is a secular one.

I could have written the "Application" section of your article. I was raised in church and never really sought out the Scriptural basis for my beliefs. A great Sunday School teacher rocked my world with mid-tribulation and I haven't been able to put my Bible down since....It is crazy that so many Christians get so incredibly upset and defensive over this topic. I have researched my heart out and read until my eyes hurt. I have looked up cultural relevance to the words of the Bible and learned the Greek and Hebrew words for many passages. I have never felt more comfortable with the mid-trib viewpoint. Great commentary!

In the gospel accounts, they were not even money lenders. They were CHANGING money and doing so with exorbitant exchange rates. Not lending. The people had to get their money changed in order to buy an animal for sacrifice so they could worship. So people were being ripped off when doing something they had to do in order to worship. Big difference. Money changers, not money lenders.

Correct. Age does not necessarily make one wise.

I'm speaking more of the concept of 'spiritual covering, which follows like this; you need to have a covering (whether pastor/prophet/apostle/leader/insert title), and you must do what they say because being under their covering allegedly gives you spiritual protection that the blood of Jesus I guess doesn't.
If they come along and tell you to do something contrary to God's word, or your conscience, you are required to submit and obey, regardless, because God SO honors covering (allegedly) that he will protect you even if you are in sin or doing something wrong or stupid, so long as you are under a covering. I've even been told "God will protect you but judge them"! (Not kidding). Very rarely do the proponents and enforces of this view realize or admit they are elevating the concept of covering above and the power of the blood of Jesus itself.

Make sense? Have you heard or been taught something similar?

There was a time when I took Pastors words, as from the Lord, and never questioned the character, or even the motive, of the person.
I guess you are speaking, of just leadership, but I have found in many a Church person a lack maturity, and a great deal, of selfishness, which I think you are implying in the older prophet. God can indeed move on the godly, and the ungodly alike to speak to one, of his own.
I know I am rambling a bit, but do get what you mean. Know the Word, and Know God's word to you right?

I have been under attack by this spirit for nearly 20 years. For a long time, I didnt have a clue to what was going on. After mentioning my situation to a few people including my former pastor, who as well were confounded? The LORD lead me to a place where the truth about jezebel was revealed to me. What I want to do nowsmoove is alert the whole race aware of this demonic influence. Remember people, we wrestle not against flesh and blood!!! jezebel is not just any demon, she is satans woman!!! Shes relentless in her quest and totally dedicated to the will (rulership) of the enemy. to steal, kill, and destroy!!!!

Mth 15:9 but in VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME,teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. I am in a church where strange things are happening. At the new moon a women got up and preached on the moon and the stars and the fimament. It made no sense. The pastor last sunday preached on the opening word the star and the moon, then the sword of the spirit and taking people down. At prayer service he said maybe God did
not wanted a 5 year old boy healed? You put money in the offering and the count is a dollar more than you gave but many are there and all gave? The tithes reports are wrong the money is missing? Mine was short by hundreds of dollars. They said oh we recorded it we just did not put it on yours?

They are using a clear oil for prayer service not olive oil?

The pastor sang a song about jezebel and when speaking used 3 male church members names in something he said making no sense almost as if he was cursing them. He layed the blame on the three.

i feel Like I am under spiritual warfare attack and it is like someone is transfering their illness on others? Is this possible? Yeah when they pray for you they put a circle around your wrist. The thumb to the wrist? They often have people stand in front of the church in a circle? They stand in, in prayer in other peoples names? Is this of God?

I am bothered by things that are going on, something in my spirit is telling me things
are not right.
